progress shot of a painting for school!!

ok so this is the first time i'm uploading my art here lol, hi everyone! this is a progress shot of a piece i'm doing for school, which in itself is a companion piece to another piece. the first one is apathy, and this one is mania!

keep in mind lol that this doesn't reflect the majority of my art, i usually draw furry or human doodles, but i do enjoy doing paintings like these (though i haven't done many!)! i'm probably going to take a break from this later today so i can paint my D&D character in time for session zero tomorrow lol, i still need to design an outfit for him but i can do a portrait in the meantime
